It is a very healthy beverage in general but is green tea good for constipation?

Although green tea contains caffeine, the length of irrigation in hot water can significantly change the intake of caffeine.

Experiments have shown that using a certain amount of tea leaves that are soaked in 100 ml of water, have about 30 mg of caffeine after the first five minutes of irrigation.

Is green tea good for constipation? I don’t recommend drinking too much of the tea or other real teas in this condition as they contain caffeine and tannins.

Tannins shrink the tissue and caffeine dehydrate so drinking green tea isn’t recommendable in this health condition.

Which teas can you drink then? Drink herbal teas throughout the entire day to moisten your intestines and help digestion to start function normally again.

Drink rosehip, mint, linden, hibiscus and other herbal teas that you enjoy. If you have severe constipation, try senna tea. Senna is a medicinal plant that is used for its treatment.

Don’t forget that healthy digestion is crucial for general health. Many diseases come from irregular digestion and accumulation of toxins.

If you have constipation often and you can’t fix it with herbal teas and eating healthy fiber food, it is better to visit your doctor and talk about the cause and treatment of the problem which occurs in more and more people around the globe.
